News today says that Anders Eka is the person (together with some friends) who will decide if the judge in #spectrial S01 was biased or not.
The court decided that he will try the case because he is not involved in any interest groups for intellectual property and none of his helpers are the same.
But does that really help? One of my best friends, Google, gave me this link:
http://www.juridicum.su.se/sccl/SCCL_universitetet_sve_15aug.pdf
A document about The Stockholm Center for Commercial law.
And when you scroll through that document, you all of a sudden find a nice interesting part called “People conected to the center”. Scroll to the list of people in the “Research center for media rights”. People on that board?
Monique Wasted, Peter Danowsky, Jan Rosén (assistant to Monique in the TPB-case and also the chairman for the swedish organisation for copyright), Daniel Westman (another one involved in the same sphere of Jan Rosén and Monique Wasted) – and of course, Anders Eka.
Note: Not any of OUR lawyers are on that board. But two of the opponents lawyers in the same board. Together with two of their main helpers.
… and I have only just started to google for the people.. it took me longer time to write this blog post than to find the information. How come noone else does this?

Probably because they’re all a bunch of lazy fucks.
Hahaha, the world, it’s so silly!
Im not sure that the fact that the lawyers have worked together is a cause for bias-accusations. Still pretty strange coincidence….again.
English:
Cooome oooooon!!!
It’s bewildering that they are even trying to pull this off.
First, the Judge in the Spectrial was CLEARLY BIASED. Then the Judge apointed for the next trial are a member of the SAME groups as the first judge. Both of them considered themselves free of bias (of course!?).
Lastly the person how is elected to decide if the first judge was biased sits in a grop on the board with TWO of the prosecutions lawyers!
SERIOUSLY!!!!! How stupid do they think we are!?
WHERE DO I PROTEST!??? We CANNOT ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN!
This is so outrageous makes us think where is the world going nowadays. But since we have yet your nice lot setting an example, one can’t help but hope that things will end up okej, so good luck and keep on doing what you do best, piss them off
<3 Internet
As Arne Anka once said:
“Ibland undrar man om man lever i ett land eller i ett skämt.”
Damn! Nice findings!
Am I the only one who is getting a big-brother-conspiracy feeling?!
The same reason that rewrites are a part of old media culture? The same reason you can get a Nobel price in Medicine but not in Journalism?
With a base of 10 real journalists in Sweden, who actually understood the things they learnt at Uni, and decided to carry them out in practice, it is not that hard to grasp.
Todays exercise: find an article where the journalist does not project their own ego and thoughts, but merely reflect the opinions of the induviduals in the society. It is form 1A for journalism. Still it is very rare.
When you’re not involved in it, it’s a very funny story.
They cannot do better to discredit themselves… and show that all this is just money..
This looks like a big joke… It’s really REALLY bad for their image….
Daniel Westman seems to be quite sensible and have a reasonably balanced view on copyright. I don’t really get why you mention him.
Google = Power to the people!
Copyright lobby = Freedom to Fascism!

This is disgusting.
Look into who is assigning these people to the cases.
Look into who they are, and why they would want to cover all of this up.
I’m trying to get in contact with EKA:

Som av en händelse så har även Jan Rosén och Tomas Norström arbetat ihop och då pratar vi som duo inte som stort arbetslag.

Check out Kerstin Calissendorff. She is on the same list and might be appointed to judge in High Court later on. And guess what: her speciality is Copyright Law. She also has other connections to other parts of “The Conspiracy Circle”. It seems that you will never get a fair trial!
JUST SPOKE TO EKA:

Underbetyg för gammelmedier som inte kollade upp det där. Bra jobbat.
It’s because people were too laze/stupid to think of searching google for people.
Jan Rosén is chairman of SFU and ALAI, (and NIR), and for iis.se NÖD (also at the same time togheter with Tomas Norström). Jan Rosén is also head of:

He was also at one time on the board for SOCWARE at Ministry of Enterprise, Energy and Communications. Up untill 2000 his background can be found here:

Henry Olsson is on the board of SFU, and is also Swedens representative in WIPO. See Copyriot for further info.
Both Moniqeu Wadsted and Peter Danowsky was on this “executive” board (for the government):
http://www.itkommissionen.se/extra/page/index431b.html?action=page_show&id=8&module_instance=4
And of course Jan Roséns name can be found in at least one report.
Both Wadsted and Danowsky “kindly” helps iis.se with Alternative Dispute Resolution and Online Dispute Resolution as well, under the watchfull eyes of Jan Rosén.
) (Oh and guess which “executive” board took an extra interest in just ADR and ODR?)
Both are of course members of SFU as well, together with personalities such as Tomas Norström.
And their respective law firms have always worked for clients regarding IP as well as, of course, other stuff.
Regarding Daniel Westman, one only need reading IRI Promemoria 3/2007 to understand his views on possible solutions.
Of course there’s more to how these people have circulated, and most likely influenced folks from students up to government level, and Swedish courts. Question is which way, and for whom and for what reasons?
WTF is going on with this country? Time to move out of here. God dammit.
I think in this case (Tpb trial) most of the judicial system has taken money from MAFIA.But it seems that they all in big trouble now.
[...] man förvånad när det visar sig att även de är kompisar med advokaterna på [...]
That’s how things got so f**ked up in the first place: all so called impartial copyright specialists are the ones who have economic interest in play.
This thing is rotten to the core.
Well. Sweden is a small country. This sort of shit is bound to happen here. I think it would be hard to find a judge who has not been in any of these organisations and still has qualifications to take on the case.
Dont get me wrong. I think it would be fucked up if you guys were convicted and I think it’s strange how you can even try to say you own a song. I just think they couldn’t find a judge who has never been engaged in these organisations.
ST said: “Regarding Daniel Westman, one only need reading IRI Promemoria 3/2007 to understand his views on possible solutions.”
I just read it, and I think it’s a quite well-balanced text that proves my point. If you read between the lines it rather strongly criticises mandatory filtering and says that disconnecting people from the internet has more the nature of a punishment than an injunction since its effect is broad rather than specific. It also describes problems with Ipred, like for example that the person who the sanction is directed at is not being able to defend himself and that evidence is easy to forge and that such falsifications are hard to uncover.

Why is it that only “the younger generation” (eg 2-35yo) use google and wikipedia? What do the rest do? Do they all have huge books full of outdated information and start by looking in a referenceguide?
Google is great, but has you tested Maltego?

How come that this does not have legal consequences for the music/movie industry?
The appointment of two judges who are members in the same copyright organization is not an coincidence. There is clearly corruption going on!
Who appointed these judges? Several people have to go to prison here and the music/movie industry should be on charge for bringing corruption to the Swedish legal system. (these allegations are much harder than hosting a Torrent announcer… would be nice to see them pay a 10 billion dollars fine)
I just read that the major labels are trying to shut you up for good. And no i dont mean when they get the verdict in a few years but effectifly immediatly, so that you cant talk about the going ons of the trial! What is that about? Freedom of speech (does anyone know what that even means)? I mean if you had to shut up, there would only be one thing left for you to do: spend some big bucks to make sure the right people are hired to decide the case in your favor =8) but oh wait, isnt the other side doing that?
Cmon K-J, saying being part of the same club is not sufficient evidence for bias accusations is like saying catching your girlfriend in bed with your friend is not enough to suggest unfaithfulness

Well to be honest i don’t think you have ANY person with more them moderate income ove the age of 35 that could possibly not have thir hands in this. It is the last generations pension plan for gods sake.
So you cant find a unbiassed judge ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD. Thats just the way it is.
Tough i must say the copyright lobbyis very suiccessfull at making a LOT of enemies. I mean its one thing to saywe need this law for terrorism. But saying we need this lkaw to defend our legal rights is another thing entirely.
So what they say is we wont stop scaring you untill either the laws change or well never. Guess what VERY unwise strategy.

Hey, I was there getting your autograph! And I must say it could compete with any Picasso art. LOL.
Anyway, your conference was awesome! I enjoyed very, VERY much. You’re cool!

Happiness to you!
Hope to see you in 2010!
