Well done, I hope they will take you!!
I wonder how many Pirates they have been trying to acquire since the rise of P2P though.. They think they can stop us.. I laugh in their faces and watch their movies for free..
There is no stopping P2P!
Sounds like the beginning of an interesting movie.
Maybe you can also send WB a film treatment while you’re at it.
=)
This could be THE definition of “poacher turned gamekeeper”, apart from the fact that in this case, poaching is good.

Hehe, that is awesome!
I wish you well and applaud you for all the work you’ve done, but your wanting this position confuses me. Were all your efforts to date just youthful exuberance and flexing your personal technical muscles?
Fanofyou, I want to get the job so I can make them understand that it’s a stupid job. That’s actually what i wrote in the application as well - my first task at the job would be to convert the job from “anti pirate manager” to “survival manager” and teach them how to act instead of doing anti piracy stuff.
Oh, oh, oh. That would be amazing, if you could get them to listen to that idea, and stranger things have happened. I wasn’t the least bit surprised that what you’ve done with TPB had caused doors to swing open for you and caught the attention of intelligent minds at studios who noticed what an asset you could be. It just seemed so ODD that you wouldn’t know you are already doing something so much larger than that in the big picture, even if it’s not as profitable. (Not that anyone could fault you if you decided you’d done enough.)
Their reply definitely needs to be posted on the legal threats page at tpb. Even so it would be amazing if they hired you
I second #9, legal threats is the place for their response.
