Fascists 0, internets 1

What happens when your website gets scandalously blocked in another country that you hardly ever even been to? Well, most of the time you’re screwed. This time, we’ve got great lawyers – and the funny part is that TPB has never been particularily big in Italy. But since the block we’ve increased traffic from Italy… We gained 10 places on Alexa in Italy, and our own stats show a 5% increase in traffic from Italy (which has been quite stable before). It’s quite interesting and my guess (with background about what happened in Denmark) is that the site will gain even more attention over the coming weeks in the media and also get a lot of new visitors.

Hi Peter, i’am Italian. I love p2p, blog, social media but i think that the therm “fascist” is too abused by other.
There are many people that really know what is fascism because they have really lived. If a lawyer wake up in a morning and decided to blocked a website it not depends from a fascist mode but it’s probably an ignorant problem about information technology and Net Neutrality.
I want to remember to you that maybe we can apply the same therm on Sverige for this law: http://www.thelocal.se/12534.html

Dario, I’m not calling italians fascist. But your government and flawed court system is fascist, in my opinion. And yes, the law in Sweden is def. a fascist-law, I agree totally to that. This is a problem, that we need to solve, as well.

How many ignorants overwhelming their traps with the word ‘fascist’! Rightly Mario Salvelli stated it has been a weird initiative of a MAGISTRATE. Btw, how many people abroad know that Italian government gets very bad terms with the Bench? Do Sweden peopleremember the italian government has been democratically elected by Italians? Do they remember their low on the web surveillance (http://www.thelocal.se/12534.html)?? If this issue had happened in Germany, would have they charged Germans as nazi?! C’mon guys, focuss on the real troubles: 1_ the piratebay has been locked BEFORE any lawsuit and 2_ the user are diverted to a record producer lobby site, that of the Ifpi, and potentially ROBBED OF THEIR PERSONAL DATA!! So… who’s the fascist here?
